"We had been wanting to remove 2 old steel gateposts set in large concrete plugs for over 3 years.
We'd tried digging them out but gave up after a couple of hours.
We tried pulling them out with a tractor but couldn't budge them.
I was sceptical about whether the Postpuller was up to the job but was pleasantly surprised when Steve and his machine finished the job in less than 20 mins.
If you have a challenging post like we did, or a number of posts that you need to remove, then in my opinion there is no better tool on the market."

"This new Post-Puller has made the difficult job of removing posts and concrete from the ground an easy and pleasurable part of my job, how did i ever manage without it? Many thanks to you Steve.

"As a contractor the post puller has saved me hours work and it has probably paid for itself in less than 6 weeks. It's fantastic."

"I recently needed to remove some fencing which included a number of oak post and very large gate posts. The almost miraculous way in which the postpuller removed these not only enabled me to complete the task but it only took two hours. There was one post which I am sure would have needed two hours on its own to be dug out by hand. A great tool, easy to use and more important, very effective and fantastic value for money to hire."

"Hi Steve
Sorry for not responding straight away,as you can see we have been fairly busy with your puller'.
As you may remember we had 95mtrs of wooden and iron posts to pull, all of which the puller took in its stride, completing the job in around three & a half hours.
This saved us around aleast a full day on the job.
Many thanks for coming down with the machine and showing us the in's and out's.

"Having purchased land from the council and erected a new boundary fence, the old one had to go. The fencing disappeared easily which left the posts. I dug the first one out, which took a full weekend. Lifting it out of the large hole was very difficult. I needed something better to get the rest of them out.
Post Pullers was identified as having a product which could help; their on line videos and product desciptions made light work of extracting posts. Steve at Post Pullers was very helpful and went out of his way to allow me to hire the machine. The evenings are short in October, but two evenings later and the rest of the posts were out. Once the machine was in position, pulling the posts was easy; I just wrapped the chain around the post and pumped! With the posts pulled out of the ground, the machine tipped back and the posts were wheeled away. The difficult part then was disposing of the 8' concrete posts with 2' of concrete footing remaining attached.
Many thanks for to post pullers a very useful product.

"We found the service provided by Postpullers Ltd excellent. The Postpuller was delivered and collected promptly. With full instructions and advice provided for this easy to use tool.
We pulled 50 or more 100mm x 100mm concrete posts out of the ground without any problems in very quick time. Even broken posts were "grabbed" by the chain and pulled out with ease.
We also used the machine on a dozen steel tube posts (part of a cricket cage system) with very large concrete plugs and these were easily grabbed by the chain and pulled out of the ground in minutes.
A tool that is certainly a time and labour saver and a must for all fencing contractors.

"Steve Just a feedback email on the post puller i purchased at Saltex this year. The first mistake, was not buying one a year ago! It's first task was a Concrete post. It pulled it with ease. Then, on the same job, another concrete post. This was more challenging. Every time i started to jack, the ram refused. then i remembered your literature. If you meet resisitance, it could be a tree root, or the machine could be on the ball of concrete. It turned out to be the latter. Once i repositioned the puller, up it came. The ball of concrete was so huge, it barely fittted between the post pullers legs! We estimated that it contained 3 full barrowloads of concrete! My next job involved removing some corrugated iron sheets that had been buried upright. I punched a hole in the sheets, and wrapped the post pullers chaing through, and out they came! I also have to confess, that i have used this machine on the odd small stump and shrub, and it copes fine. you just have to know the machines limits. Until just yesterday, i had no chance to try the claw attachment. I was replacing a broken fence post, and rather that take my heavy breaker, i opted for the puller instead. I dug round the sides of the concrete plug, and could not believe the size of it for just a 3" post. it measured nearly 2' across!. I was sceptical about the claw. I couldn't see how it was possible that such a simple attachment could actually work. I managed to open it up and clamp it on either side of the concrete, attached the chain and began to pull, still remaining sceptical. After a few pumps, the claw remained attached, and the massive concrete ball began to rise above the ground. To say i was impressed was an understatement! For years i wondered if there was an easy way to replace broken fence posts, and now I have found it! I will look forward to the next time i need it, as it saves so much time and energy. All the best for xmas and the new year steve! regards daniel"

"Steve, Many thanks for delivering and collecting the Postpuller recently. We used it to remove a number of posts in an 80m section of hedge at our place in France. The ground was very wet and so soft even walking was difficult, and some of it was an inch deep in water. The postpuller did a great job despite the conditions and with so little damage. The main alternatives, digging them out by hand or using an excavator would have made so much more work in tidying up afterwards and made the overall cost a great deal more both in money and time. It took me a couple of goes to get the knack with the postpuller but after that it was great. A must for anyone removing fencing. Its compact enough to get to most places, does less damage than all the alternatives I know of, is very useful at getting the removed post to where you need it and is a relatively low cost investment. Its a winner!!"
